9 months old

Well Rebekah is oficially 9 months old and went for her well-check on the 29th. She was 19 pounds and 6 ounces (60th percentile) and 28 inches (70th percentile). We also found out she too has a big head (90th percentile) which was not a surprise since her big brother did too at this age.
She has now started pulling herself up in her crib and on other things she can "cruise" around. The doctor said she thinks Rebekah will be walking before Christmas so for us to be prepared. So for now I will leave you with a few pictures.

8 months old

Can you believe our baby girl is already eight months old. Oh, how times has flown by. She is sitting up like a pro and is beginning to arm crawl. She also enjoys trying to pull herself up which has prompted me to lower her crib mattress. She has not went to the doctor in a few months and will not go until she is 9 months which is the 29th on this month. Since I last posted she has gotten her two bottom teeth and three teeth on top.
I will be sure to post again soon, but for now I will close with a few recent pictures.

Well Check Stats

Rebekah went for her 6 month well check and she is doing great. She is now weighing 16 pounds (41st percentile) and is 26 inches long (46th percentile). She is now sitting up and is in the process of teething, but has no teeth as of yet. I will post pictures soon.

6 Months

I was going to wait until after Beka's well-check on the 8th, but I have so many cute pictures to share that I figured I post a little something now and then post again later this week. In this past month it seems like she has been growing and doing more than in months prior. She is now rolling (only when she wants to though) and sitting with some support. She has also started scooting herself (almost like army crawling) on our bed. She is eating like crazy and we have pictures to prove it. We have let her have some table food which she thoroughly enjoys. She loves her jump-a-roo and playing in the water. Rebekah has become a very happy baby for the most part and here are the pictures to show you our six month old cutie.

Playing in the exersaucer at the A/G camp grounds while daddy worked on getting the sound system up and running for summer camps.

Playing in the sprinkler with Aunt B and Gabe. She loved it even though it was cold water.

4 Months Old

Where has the time gone? My baby girl is already four months old and she is growing every day and doing things she didn't do the day before. We went to the doctor for her well-check and shots last Wednesday. Rebekah is still in the 10th percentile for her weight, but the doctor said that is fine since she is still following the growth curve just on the low end and she is getting much longer so that is a plus as well. While we were there Rebekah got three shots in her legs and one more orally and was put on Zithromax again for a virus that was in her chest. She is sounding much better and coughing a lot less. So for her four month update...
Rebekah is...
-13 pounds
-25 1/4 inches long
-eating rice cereal once a day
-can start fruits and veggies this week (I'll post pics when I have them)
-likes to pull mommy's hair
-coos and squeals a lot more
-smiles when people talk to her
-sleeps through the night in her crib (this is a big one for me since Gabe just started sleeping through the night in his own bed in the past few months)
-is growing much too fast

3 Months

I know I am a few weeks late and I will be posting a 4 month update in just a few weeks after the well-check, but I wanted to let you know what I have been doing and how much I have grown so here it goes.

At 3 months, I am...
-24 inches long
-don't know how much I weigh since I haven't been to the doctor
-smiling at people when they talk to me
-very aware of my surroundings (which mommy says is just being a nosy baby) She comes by it honestly, mommy is a people watcher too.
-sitting up with support
-am grabbing things
-chewing and slobbering a lot

There is much more, but that is all I will post for now since I will be posting again after my doctor's appointment on May 6th. I do have a few pictures to share.

Two Month Update

Last Friday I had my two month well visit at the doctor. I got four shots in my legs and I took one of the vaccines via my mouth (it was liquid). I only cried a little and then I fell asleep for a long nap and was much better when I woke up. I am still fighting this cold that I have had for many weeks and am still being given breathing treatments 3-4 times a day. The good news is that Thursday my daddy, mommy, Gabe, and I are leaving for much warmer weather in Florida for 10 days so hopefully that will help with the breathing. As for my statis as a two month old.

At two months old, I...

-weigh 9 pounds, 3.2 ounces (a little less than a pound more than my birth weight, which for those who don't know was 8 pounds, 5 ounces)
-am 23 inches long (2 inches longer than I was at birth)
-track things with my eyes
-smile a lot more
-sleep in at least 4 hours stretches without waking to eat
-nurse and then take usually 4 more ounces of formula (high calorie formula given to us by the pediatrician so she will start gaining weight, this has yet to work as you can see from the above weight gain)
-love my bouncy seat
-am a much happier baby than I was a month ago (could be the added formula)

Here are also a few pictures from this past month.

This is me in my bathing suit getting ready to go to the hotel pool for the first time in Noblesville. I did not like it so mommy is hoping that I will like warmer water in Florida.

One Month Old

On Thursday I turned one month old and on Friday I had my one month well check at the doctor. This is what I am doing at this point.
At one month I am...
-weighing in at 7 lbs. 14 oz.
-21 1/2 inches long
-being fed by my mommy and a bottle
-smiling at my mommy occasionally
-sleeping most of the day
-liking my bouncy seat and being held
-responding to my mommy, daddy, and brother's voices
-tracking objects
I'm sure there are many more things I could share that I am doing, but for now that is all I will share. You will also have to wait for some pictures to share until my mommy can get them uploaded and ready to post. Hopefully this will be soon.

A Little Lady

The other day I was sleeping in my bouncy seat and my mommy walked in and found me sitting with my feet crossed at the ankles and she couldn't resist taking a picture of it. She thought I looked like a little lady laying like that.

4 Weeks Old

Today I am 4 weeks old and will be a month old on Thursday. Mommy says she can't believe I am already that old. Time has flown by. I am still having crying fits due to an upset tummy, but it is getting better and happening less often, which is a good thing for me and my daddy and mommy. My big brother is great. He talks to me, holds me, and tries to share some of his toys when he is playing. I go to the doctor Friday so I will post more then and I will be sure to have some more pictures, but for now I have just a few.
Remember I said I still had crying fits well this is what it looks like.

Bath Time

I have had a few baths in my baby bath tub, but have not enjoyed any of them. Even with me screaming my mommy took the time to take my picture while my daddy finished my bath. The pictures were when I had my first bath. Since then they have been kind enough to quickly get me in and out of the bath tub and redressed, for which I am very happy about.

My First Post

Since I am a whole three weeks old I thought I would write me very first post. So far being at my home has been pretty nice. I get to eat a lot, get my diaper changed and take lots of naps. However, when I am awake I get to spend time playing with my big brother(and daddy and mommy). My mommy got a few pictures of me playing that I thought I would share.

Me playing with the bunny that is bigger than me that my big brother made me at Build-a-Bear before I was born.

This is one of the stories that my big brother has read to me.
